Duffy shot this image on location in Florence, Italy for Vogue in July 1961. Marie Lise Gres models a hat by Cesare Canessa.
This photograph was taken in Piazza Ognissanti. In the background, the statue of Hercules strangling the Nemean Lion can be seen. In the distance over the Arno river, is the Chiesa di San Frediano in Cestello.
