David Bowie – Aladdin Sane shot by Duffy. This full length was used in the gatefold album cover instead of Duffy’s portraits of “The Spiders From Mars” made up of Mick Ronson, Trevor Bolder and Woody Woodmansey. The airbrushing on this image based on Duffy’s original concept was by Phillip Castle who also airbrushed the water on the Aladdin Sane album cover and Duffy’s 1973 Pirelli Calendar.
