Model and actress Marisa Berenson with Peter Boxer for an article taken by Duffy for Queen Magazine in 1968. Marisa was quoted in The New York Times as saying she was one of the highest paid models in the world. Initially the magazine was called ‘The Queen’ but in 1953 it was invigorated by it’s new owner and became known just as ‘Queen.’ Queen attracted a much younger audience and embraced the ‘Swinging Sixties.’ Queen magazine supported the pirate radio station ‘Radio Caroline’ and when it first went on air it operated from their editorial offices. Queen magazine eventually morphed into “Harpers & Queen.” Photo Duffy © Duffy Archive
